Post Concussion Syndrome-Can It Be Treated?

By · February 28, 2012 · Filed in Post Concussion Syndrome · No Comments »

Menomonee Falls, WI- Post concussion syndrome affects 128 of every 100,000 people inAmerica every year.  It has been getting a lot of attention in the news lately because the NFL is seeing the long term effects of post-concussion syndrome in its retired players.  I applaud the efforts of the NFL to stop this epidemic in its players.  But, I think they and others, are operating under the assumption that once you get this form of brain damage, its permanent.

Can post-concussion syndrome be treated ?  My experience is that it most certainly can.

First and foremost, a good neurological evaluation is necessary to find out what areas of the body are being effected.  Any trauma to the head will effect the neck, so this must be evaluated as well.  Post concussion symptoms will often be relieved after proper treatment of spinal injuries.

Some symptoms of post-concussion syndrome can be related to mis-aligned bones in the skull and face.  Relief from signs and symptoms can be obtained through re-aligning the cranium with a technique called Endonasal Cranial Correction.

And last but not least, the brain must be given the nutritional building blocks it needs to repair itself.  Without the proper nutrition, it won’t heal.  Most doctors don’t suggest any type of nutritional regimen for their brain trauma patients and this is a major mistake.  A good diet along with targeted supplementation can make a huge difference in brain function, even years after the damage occurred.

After the damage is repaired, rehabilitation exercises may be necessary to retrain areas of the brain that have lost function.

Sinus Problems? – Real Help

By · February 27, 2012 · Filed in Sinus Pain · No Comments »

Menomonee Falls, WI–Over 40 million Americans suffer from sinus problems.  They spend over $1 billion dollars a year on over the counter sinus medications and $150 million on prescription drugs.  These drugs may provide some temporary relief, but for most chronic sinus sufferers, they don’t fix the problem.

A new technique has been developed called Endonasal Cranial Correction that is helping sinus sufferers across the country.

The technique involves a doctor inserting tiny balloons into the nasal passages and inflating them.  This opens up the nasal passages and allows free breathing.  The results are dramatic and permanent.  It is very helpful for people suffering from chronic sinus congestion, sleep apnea, deviated septum, snoring, headaches and lightheadedness.

To see if you might be a candidate for this life-changing treatment, call 262-251-8306 talk to Karen, Becky or Pat and schedule a free no-obligation consultation.

Benign Positional Vertigo- New Treatments That Work!

By · February 24, 2012 · Filed in Vertigo · No Comments »

Menomonee Falls, WI- Benign Positional Vertigo is a condition that can come on suddenly and cause dizziness, nausea, headaches and balance disorders.  It is called “benign” because it isn’t caused by cancer, tumors, infections or the like.  But it is far from minor.  It can be absolutely debilitating.

The balance disorder problem can be caused by things not normally treated by the medical profession.  That being pinched or stretched nerves in the head and neck.  When these nerves get irritated it results in garbled communication to and from the brain regarding where your body is in space.

You may feel like you are falling over when you aren’t.  Or the room is spinning when it isn’t.  You may feel light headed when you move or change positions.  Some people can make their symptoms worse by tipping their head down or back.  This is all related to mechanical nerve pressure in the head and neck.

These symptoms can be treated with a combination of two radically new alternative therapy techniques.  Advanced Biostructural Correction to correct the problems in the spine.  Endonasal Cranial Correction to correct the problems in the head.  The two techniques have given relief to many BPV sufferers across the country.

Fibromyalgia Miracle Cures-Or Mirages?

By · February 1, 2012 · Filed in Fibromyalgia · No Comments »

I am frequently on the web looking at information on fibromyalgia and I am often disgusted with the so-called “miracle cures”.  Anyone that puts out a web-site saying they have the answer for fibromyalgia, and all you have to do is take this one thing, is flat out wrong.

They are either totally ignorant of the problems associated with fibromyalgia, or they are out to make a buck from desperate people.

There is no known cure for fibromyalgia.  That’s because there are multitudes of reasons why a person can have wide-spread pain and fatigue.  Here’s just a partial list:

  1. Chronic whiplash injury
  2. Multiple herniated discs
  3. Thyroid disorders
  4. Adult Tethered Cord Syndrome
  5. Metabolic disorders
  6. High Omega 6 to Omega 3 fatty acid ratios
  7. Dysbiosis
  8. Gluten Intolerance
  9. Latent Viral Infection
  10. Low vitamin D levels
  11. Failed Back Surgery
  12. Heavy Metal Toxicity

And the list can go on and on.  The problem is, most medical doctors don’t treat these conditions.  In order to correct these problems, you need the help of someone trained to get your body to work right.  Not cover up symptoms with drugs.  You need someone to help you walk through the “maze”,  find out what the problems are, and find you a way out.

There is no “one thing” that cures everyone, but there are treatments that can help. For more information on fibromyalgia log on to: www.stopyourfibronow.com.
